It's been awhile since we posted an update for Airship Campaigns, and we're here again to help make sure you've gotten your rewards for Airship Campaigns and to promote our next Kickstarter coming soon - Moonsoon (sign up to be notified here)!
1. Airship Campaigns Fulfillment Reminder

2. Free Airship STL - Stardust Skyliner
We are giving all of our Airship Campaigns and Skies of Sordane backers access to our awesome Stardust Skyliner Airship STL (also has a sea faring version). Well, Airship Campaigns has been fully fulfilled and we are extremely happy with the end products plus all the great feedback and positivity we have gotten towards the product!
If you have not received your pledge, it's likely due to missing several emails either through spam filters or otherwise. If you didn't receive your pledge, please email us at [email protected] and we will manually deal with your pledge to make sure you get your rewards to you. We have sent over 3,200 packages now!
This update will be to finish off Airship Campaigns, tie a bow on it as it were, and let you all know what else we have going on in the company. If you have already received your pledge, you can ignore this update if you aren't concerned with the other stuff we have going on at Arcane Minis.

We just released a new free to play tabletop wargame game called Skies Ablaze (Still in beta for another 4-5 months). It uses the same base STLs as Aldarra for the starting factions, but we have plans to grow the community every month with updated rules, new STLs and new factions!
If you have access to the STLs from Aldarra, you receive the Skies Ablaze STLs completely for free! Simply check your MyMiniFactory Library for the files and they should be in there!

With the launch, we are also releasing 3 new ships. All Tribers (monthly supporters) on our MyMiniFactory Tribe, get access to all 3 of these for as low as $1. The purpose of the tribe is to be a vessel for the community. The game is free to play and, especially while in beta, we are trying to make it as accessible as possible to anyone that wants to play!

Hey everyone! This is going to be a bit of a long update with lots of information in it so buckle in! I'm going to number each section so you can find the area that most interests you. Kickstarter doesn't exactly have fantastic tools for this, but it'll do!
This update is intended to be our final update! If you have questions or concerns, we encourage you to mail us directly, or comment on the post. Please always remember to keep things civil to us and to each other! We will respond to all quiries quickly!
Starting from today, we will be beginning to send out fulfillment surveys. You will be charged a flat fee that will enter your order into the system for the finality of delivery. The flat fees per country are below. These flat fees are a fraction of the increased overall cost as we are going to be relying on the Airship Campaigns Fulfillment Fundraising Campaign to help us cover the other 2/3 of the inflated costs for fulfillment
We need to test the system first to make sure there are no final issues. We have about 3 different moving platforms behind the scenes to fulfill every order. So we will be sending shipping surveys to only a few hundred people to begin with over the next 24-48 hours and then we will be starting to send the rest of them! So keep an eye on your emails please. So over the next couple of days everyone should receive their survey aside from some (see note below please)
Please Note: There are quite a few people with mailing addresses that are showing as invalid. We may have to contact you individually if this is the case, but it would likely be AFTER the initial batch of emails are sent out. We will be in touch with you if this is the case!
The following are the flat fee amounts people will need to pay to complete their orders. They are set by region and are less than half the actual increase in the vast majority of cases.
Once you pay, there is a bit of a manual process behind the scenes, but we should be processing them all within a day or two and then your order will be shipped to you!
Once these fees are paid, your entire order will be processed and sent to you!
Refunds
It goes without saying that we hope after all the delays and struggles this campaign has gone though, we would love it for everyone to finalize the additional flat fee required to help cover the shipping cost increases, but we aren't here to take advantage of anyone, especially those who put their faith in us. If you are still interested in getting a refund after receiving your survey, please send us a message through Kickstarter. There are a couple of things to note when doing this.
Having said all of that, I truly hope you all will complete your shipping costs as we have been anticipating this day for a long long time and look forward to hearing what you all think of it!
For everyone who pays their flat fee to get their product, you will be provided with the following list of digital rewards in addition to your physical products as small token of our appreciation for being understanding and for the inconvenience of shipping too early. The deal we are giving here is massive. We appreciate some of you may already have everything we are providing you with, but we are also making a brand new miniature - the Krabec Giant - just for this compensation bundle! This STL alone will retail for $15! We understand that not everyone will have a need for the STLs and/or the PDFs, but this is what we are able to do in good faith for our backers!
Please note you will be sent a GDrive link & and MMF link to these files. They will be sent at the end of the Fulfillment Fundraiser Campaign.
As mentioned in the last update, we decided to take a bit of a mixed route when it came to covering the costs of the added shipping and fees needed to fulfill. We have partnered with MyMiniFactory to host this fundraiser!
What's On Offer?
We have 9 bundles all 80% off or more. We never give this level of discount, but this is a very special and unique situation where we want to make it unquestionably beneficial for those who want to support us and help cover the fulfillment costs we face. We understand a lot of you may already have all, or most, of the files we have ever created, but many of you don't! For those of you who do already have all of our files, please check out section #4 "Physical Books & Maps For Sale" where you can support us by purchasing physical products.
We have also partnered with a bunch of other creators who have agreed to generously help us out and provide us with free STLs and free 1 month trial offers to their Tribes to offer to everyone who supports on the Fulfillment Fundraiser. In addition to the monthly free trials & the free STLs, creators also have welcome packs you will have full access to when you join their Tribes trials!
Another exciting thing is that now that we can finally fulfill Airship Campaigns, we have excess inventory to move and sell to the masses! If you are a digital only backer and you would like to support us in another way, we would encourage you to check out our online store and purchase the book, some map tiles, or even some other other products we have listed for sale on the site. It's a great way to support Arcane Minis in general and we would be forever grateful!
It has been said before, but this section is to notify new people coming to the fundraiser or the situation in general of what the problem actually is and what we are trying to deal with. So if you are a backer who isn't aware of the situation, please read this section for an explanation on why the shipping cost has increased and why were are requiring a slight increase in shipping fee.
1. Shipping We Charged Was Way too Cheap
The shipping we originally charged was too cheap based on the amount of product and the weight of it in each order. Even just the book itself weights twice as much as we originally quoted and charged for.
2. Map Tiles MUCH Heavier
The map tiles are much heavier than we charged for and their volumetric weight is also larger due to the thicker material of some of the items. All in all, the map tiles are ironically costing us the difference between profit and loss on this project for now (unless we sell our remaining stock). Adding them to the campaign was not the correct decision in hindsight.
3. Paper More Expensive Due to Covid Affecting Manufacturing
This is not specifically a shipping issue, but this issue affects our own ability to buffer the increase in shipping. We effectively had to pay almost double for the manufacturing of the project than we originally anticipated. This is 10s of thousands of extra dollars we had to spend. Basically, most of our immediate profit margin from the initial Kickstarter
4. Covid Affecting Shipping (Not as much at its peak, but it still lingers)
A tale as old as time at this point, but it cannot be understated that the effects of covid still play a part. Not only is it responsible for the increase in manufacturing, but it's still affecting the prices of global shipping (both frieght and parcels) Thankfully, they were 10x as much (especially containers), but by the time we shipped our container in November 2022, the costs were only 4x. Still much, much more than we budgeted and charged for.
5. Warehousing + Label Service Charges
The partners we engage for fulfilling and delivering these rewards have also increased twice as much from when we originally got our quote in 2021.
So, having combined all of these issues, fulfillment is now going to cost us 3x that we originally had planned for. This is a terrible issue for us if we cannot help cover the costs through the fund raiser and flat fees. With luck, and some amazing support from the community, we won't have to cover any of the shipping costs out of pocket. We greatly appreciate all support in any form you decide to provide it in!
Q: How do I pay for my extra fees?
A: You will be sent an email in the next 24-72 hours that will have a link that takes you to a new payment portal. You will fill in your details, pay and then you will be all set and your order will be in the system and fulfilled!
Once again, I want to thank you all for your support and patience throughout this project. I know some of you are upset with the progress of the campaign, the delays, and the increase in shipping - believe me, no one is more upset about all of those things than me and the team (especially me since I am the decision maker!). I am beyond elated that we finally can fulfill this campaign and ship these products to you. I absolutely love them, am very proud of our team, and I'm thankful for the opportunity to make such awesome products for a living. Thanks again to everyone, all the best, and I really hope you enjoy your products. The next update will not likely be soon as this update is meant to be the end of the campaign, but if there are any further updates that are important, I will be posting them here!

We've just past the 48h mark to confirm your shipping addresses! Please check your email and, if you need to change your shipping address, please go to this link and use the email you have used on Kickstarter to modify your information. Addresses will lock on Thursday!

Shipping will commence on February 2nd. You will receive an email with a survey and you will pay the additional small flat fee. The fees will be announced next week after shipping addresses have been locked. We are still playing with the estimates and how much we can rely on donations to carry us through the costs. To let you all know. The additional costs compared to when we charged (we may have slightly even undercharged at the time) is 3x what we charged to backers. You will NOT have to pay that much in your flat fee as we are going to be trying to rely on flat fees + the donations of backers and others in the community to help us cover these heightened costs.
