Manufacturing Update #12

Hey everyone!

Hope you have all been well! Summer is here =)

Unfortunately, we have had a sliiight delay, but the PPCs are in the mail. The factory has been having issues creating the PPCs. This is what I've been told verbatum

"Our team has been trialing the new sizes of the mats for cutting and packing in mass production, this has taken a little longer than expected. Unfortunately due the PPC printing methods the bottom of the mats keeps getting scratched, and isn’t a true reflection of what you’d see on the MPC/final product - again we’ve been testing out new methods of printing, but it might be that you’d receive matts with scratches on the bottom just for the PPC.

As for actually sending the PPC, I understand some of the boxes are ready - I’ll see if we can split up the shipment, to keep things moving."

So we will be looking to get those few PPCs of the map tiles that are ready next week so we can keep the information flow running to you guys and prep for actual manufacturing.

Again, I want to apologize so much for the delays here. Covid and stuff in China has really been causing delays on top of other material issues we had with the PPCs, etc.

Hopefully we will have much great stuff to show you all next week!

Super Short Update!

Hey everyone. Just a very very fast update today to keep you all in the loop. The manufacturer gave me a timeline of 10 days last week to get the new PPCs in my hands so I would say by the middle to end of next week, we should have them. If everything checks out - we start manufacturing! :)

PDF Adventures

These will also be coming soon. We are finishing up the STLs for them and making sure the layouts and formatting are all good. Then we will release them all at once =)

Manufacturing Update

Small one here. We are still waiting on the PPC (preproduction copy from the factory! Will update you all next week if and when they come in!) Sorry for the delay and thank you for your patience!

PDF Adventure Stretch Goals

The PDF Adventures are finished for the most part. Just getting formatted and getting the art done for them and the sculpts finished! To keep you all satisfied until they get released, here is some of the art and sculpt progress! As soon as we have the STLs finished for these, they will be released =)

Aldarra Kickstarter Final 12 Hours

Our most ambitious project is now ending in about 12 hours and we would love to have your support for it. We have STLs, a full board game, discounts on premium addons like metal coins. We even have a ton of Kickstarter exclusive items like limited edition box sleeves for the games and upgraded tokens and minis for your game as well. We have even decided to add in a 2 player mode!

We would love to have your support for Aldarra!

Happy Weekend!

Just a small one today. The files are finally finished and uploaded. PPCs should be here next week or at least started and then I will share images of them!

To give you a bit of context for what we have had to go back and forth on, we actually had to ADD a few more layers of some ship files last minute that we had forgotten to upload and proof over. All should be good now. The factory is checking over the final files of the final ship, with a tiny bit more luck, we should be good to go soon. 

Message To Book Only Backers!! (didn't get the map tile addons)

I apologize for the delays in the map tiles causing delays in getting the book print run started. The book itself has been ready to print for over a month now, but we can't get the full order going until we have all files completely finished and approved by the factory to get the PPCs out to us. You have my deepest apologies that out overall estimate of time committment needed for the map tiles addon is just a bit more effort than we realized, but we are getting there. I promise a great product you will all love though!

Sorry for the delay!

Hey everyone! Sorry for the delayed update! Didn't have too much new things to report in the last couple of weeks due to things being slowed down internally plus being a little over focused on the Aldarra Kickstarter!

It's a simply update in any case, the files are now all updated and we are just waiting for the factory to send us the PPC (Pre production copy). With luck, that will be in my hands next week and I can take more pics of the new map tiles to show you all!

Please look for another update from me next Friday (hopefully with PPCs in hand!)
