Hey everyone!
As promised here is a more in-depth update on the progress of manufacturing for the book and map tiles!
Airship Campaigns Hardcover BookUpdate
It has been a wild ride adding the extra 100 pages to the book and we went through some bumps with manufacturing, but the PPC came through and there was very little that needed to be updated. A few words here and there. A couple of pieces of art, and that's basically it! Very little to update here.

The map tiles on the other hand had a couple of things we wanted to change
1. Map Tiles - So these were much thinner than I was originally expecting. They were a few times thicker than a normal playing card and it didn't feel right when laid on the table.
We are currently getting final numbers of thickening them up. to say the least, it's MUCH more than the original quote from the factory (covid also increased the prices a bit). It isn't ideal, but there is no concern here because we will just lower our ordered quantity from the factory to compensate for this extra cost
We couldn't rightly ship a product we weren't 100% happy with and this unfortunately caused a delay. I garuauntee it will result in a much better product though!
Shipping will also be effected by this, but we are not asking any of the backers to pay extra. This is our blunder and we will cover any difference in shipping cost due to the tiles ultimately becoming thicker.
TLDR: The tile thickness isn't good enough, we are fixing it and requoting before we manufacture.
2. The Box Material was a lesser problem, but still an issue for us. The quality wasn't quite what we wanted. It was originally going to be thicker corrogated cardboard, but the final result isn't great. So we are changing to a thinner, very tight to the tiles, type of box packaging. It will feel a lot more sturdy when stored and look better =)

Delivery Timeline?
In summary, even with the delays to the map tiles and having to change materials and get some new quotes from the factory, we are still very close to going to manufacturing this month. I am currently waiting to get white samples of the new map tile board material and once I see it for myself, and I am happy with it, we are going into manufacturing!
How long does manufacturing take?
It will take 11-13 weeks from the time we push the button.
What happens when it's done manufacturing?
From there, we ship from China to the US and ship to you! It will take 4-8 weeks to ship from China depending on many many different factors. Fingers crossed it goes fast and doesn't get locked in customs. We are making sure to cross the Ts and dot the Is so we have no hiccups. I will keep you all intimately up to date with this process when we get here.
Shipping to You
You should start seeing your pledges ship out shortly after they get to the distributor warehouse in the US. All shipping methods from the distributor to you should not take longer than a week or two from when they are shipped. We will share more specific information on this after we ship the product from China!

Thanks everyone! Sorry again for the delay in delivery. There has just been so much stuff coming up the last 12 months and we are finally in the home stretch!
There will be another update next week before we launch the Aldarra Kickstarter, with some more releases including the stretch goal digital maps and STL bases! As well as information on the PDF Adventures we are working on. 2 are almost done, we just need to sculpt the miniatures for them =)

Manufacturing Update Part 1!

Hello everyone!
Benny here! I hope you're all having a great weekend.
There will be an update coming out this week about the printed book manufacturing! The manufacturer was on break for 2 weeks due to Chinese New Year! But they are back and we are able to get back to udpating the PPCs :)
We have a call with them on Monday to go over some things and finalize the final product. There are a few things we needed to change regarding the map tiles but we've been waiting on samples to make sure itll work! I will be going into detail about what these changes are going to be in the larger update this week after we have a call!
Additionally, we will have some stretch goal updates about the digital ship maps and updates on the PDF adventures as well!

Airship Campaigns Samples In! Loose Manufacturing and Delivery Schedule!

Happy New Year! Airship Campaigns is here!
Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great holidays and new year! 2022 has begun and we are starting it off in a great way! Many of you may have seen on Facebook or Discord a couple of days ago that we received the PPCs (pre production copies) and I have been reviewing it this week. I'm suuuper excited to share this with you all and I can't wait until you all also receive this beautiful book for your own campaigns!
In this post, I will go through the PPCs of the book and the map tiles (which we also received!). And then I will outline a rough delivery schedule for the first half of this year! As you all have noticed, we are delayed in getting it delivered and again, I apologize for this. There are a few reasons to the delay. First and foremost, adding the additional content through the stretch goals took us A LOT more time than anticipated, but we eventually got there and the book is now over 220 pages. Which is incredible. The second, and very unfortunate reason, is due to the pandemic. Everything has kind of slowed down due to the pandemic which is unfortunate, but it does mean it gave us a bit more time to actually finish things properly and not rush!
Airship Campaigns Book Sample
Here it is! The Airship Campaigns book is finally done and we have our sample! I've been going over it for the last few days and we have a meeting with the manufacturer next week to go over minor changes and finalizing everything before we push the big green GO button on manufacturing next month (after Chinese new year)!
Rough Schedule for delivery
- Mid-February: Manufacturing begins and will take 11-13 weeks to complete
- Mid March/ Early April: We load up the containers and ship to the US where we will be shipping to backers from! Depending on the nature of the world's shipping flow at the time this could take 6-9 weeks, I believe. We will know more after we start manufacturing. The world of freight has been greatly turned over due to covid. Everything is delayed sadly
- June / July: Is when we are currently planning for shipment of individual rewards to backers! With luck, this plan will stay the course and you will all have your books and maps before the end of the summer!

Map Tiles Samples
Here are the PPC map tiles! The colours are really vibrant and beautiful and they look great on the table! I will play around with them a bit more before the meeting with the manufacturer to make sure they are done the right way!
Below are the Gleaming Shard and the Rassen Frigate map tiles. All backers of the hardcover book will be getting the Rassen Map tiles as a freebie added on during the Kickstarter last year!
Stretch Goal Progress
We only have a few stretch goals left believe it or not! The 3 PDF adventures and the bases. See the progress of the campaigns rewards here.The adventures will be coming over the next couple of months and the bases should be done by February some time! About 1/3 of them are finished already and we are just getting the rest done. There will be about 30 of them in total!
The final update for today is unrelated to Airship Campaigns, but is huge news for us as a company. As I have state several times in the past, we have been developing our board game "Aldarra Reborn" for over a year and a half and the time has finally come to do our Kickstarter for it. We previewed it at PAX Unplugged and got a great response there, and we have had a ton of fantastic playtesting from our community to really help us strengthen the game as a whole into something we are very very proud of.
If you're interested in fun, fast-paced strategy board games, we would be forever grateful if you would check out our prelaunch campaign page and perhaps support us when we launch! It's going to be an awesome Kickstarter! We will have all kinds of pledge tiers including an STL only tier for all of the minis in the game if you'renot interested in the board game itself and All-In pledges for those wanting great deals off MSRP of the full game and expansion!
On top of all that, we will have awesome discounts on our previous airships and we will finally be releasing our entire "Ship Collection Library" package which will include every airship we have released, but at a heavily discounted rate. We are also going to be releasing our own resin in partnership with Atlas. We are naming it "Arcanite" and it will be coloured resin that matches the 6 factions in the board game! We are super excited about this addition and hope to share more info about it with you all very soon. The prototypes you see above were all printed in this new Arcanite resin.

Samples Coming! Final STL Releases. PAXU

Happy Holidays!
Hey everyone. Happy holidays to you all. We are all wishing you a great month of December!
It's been awhile since we have updated you, but a lot has been going on. We have been preparing for PAXU (which we are showing our new board game at starting TODAY - More info at the bottom of this post), finalizing all the samples (which has taken us WAY longer than we anticpated) and finishing up all of the STLs for Airship Campaigns!
Airship Campaigns Book and Map Tile Samples
We are finally ready to get the samples printed and sent to us. It has been over a month of back and forth with the manufacturer making sure all of the colors, layouts and sizes were correct in order to get everything squared away for manufacturing. This unfortunately means our original delivery date of December 2021 will not be met. I deeply apologize for this, but it has been difficult to get things to this point with covid wrecking global supply lines (where we need to look into some alternatives for international freight shipping) and adding all of the new content to the book (we even added an additional 12 unplanned pages!).
We should be getting samples back in the near future and I will be sharing the photos and information on them as soon as I have them! Again, I apologize for this delay. It was a little out of my hands personally, but I can assure you all that the team has been working tirelessly on getting everything finished content and layout wise!
Final STLs!
We have 3 more packs of stretch goal STLs coming your way this weekend! I won't say any more and let these beautiful sculpts speak for themselves. This will complete all of our STLs for Airship Campaigns aside from the bases (which are also being worked on now and will be out very soon!). Look for these in your MyMiniFactory account on Saturday or Sunday (just test printing the pre-supported files now before we release!)

Samples Incoming!
Well, after a long and stressful October finishing up the Airship Campaigns book, we have settled nearly all the issues brought up by the manufacturer on the first couple passes. Colours and layout tweaks were the main problems! We got those all sorted now and the samples will be started!
We have also finished up the 6 map tile boxes we added as addons at the end of the Kickstarter!
I don't have an exact timeline on the samples yet, but when I hear back from the manufacturing on timing, I will let you all know!
